What ai4sports does

ai4sports reads injury risk and muscle fatigue from thermal imaging, with AI, in objective reports.

Objective reports in 15 seconds help athletes train safely and effectively, so coaching and medical staff act on data instead of guesswork.

We named it ai4sports, but injury and overload are not limited to the pitch. From the training ground to physical therapy to the desk, the same thermal analysis applies anywhere the body carries load, so ai4sports is built for every field.

01 Watch

Watch training load land on the muscle, session after session.

Thermal imaging reveals surface temperature and the thermal asymmetries that appear before and after training. Regular assessment tracks the load on each muscle and helps draw the line between high and excessive load.

02 Diagnose

Infrared imaging is a proven auxiliary diagnostic tool.

It is widely used to assess inflammation, overuse injuries, muscle pain and circulatory disorders, and it is highly effective for diagnosing muscle injuries in sport. Because injuries trigger inflammation and inflammation produces heat, the level of inflammation can be read from the temperature gradient of infrared images.

03 Cure

Objective evidence of how recovery is progressing.

Depending on the nature of an injury, tissues respond thermally in different ways. Thermal assessments make the progress of treatment measurable.

  1. 1

After left-knee meniscus surgery, the athlete began a monitored recovery block.

  2. 2

A long wait before surgery had caused overload on the right leg.

  3. 3

This produced asymmetry in the left tendon; an ankle-strengthening protocol was added to treatment.

  4. 4

Thermal asymmetry in the foot region was tracked through to resolution.

Asymmetry indicator

From a heat line to a diagnosis, for injury and fatigue.

A left / right asymmetry on the heat line maps to a status band. Hover any muscle on the front or back model to read its value and the model's call.
